Jul i Gammelby
Jeg var i weekenden en tur i den Gamle By i Århus Der er “gammel jul” for alle pengene 
Vi ankom ca. kl 16 og det var ved at blive lidt mørkt, så vi gik rundt i de mørke gader… tænk at det en gang har været så mørkt! Der var kun en enkelt gade med belysning, men det er jo nok en af de yngste gader i “Byen”.
Rundt omkring i husene er der udstillet pyntede juletræer fra forskellige tidsaldre og hvis man er heldig, så kan man også finde et køkken, hvor de står og laver mad, som “dengang”. Det var en stor oplevelse for min niece, at se hvordan man steger medisterpølse over et ildsted. Og ligeledes var det en oplevelse for hende at se en stue, som de så ud, det år oldefar blev født!
Der var også gang i handelslivet i byen. Her kan jeg klart anbefale bageren 
deres vaniliekranse er gode… de smager faktisk som dem jeg selv bager! Og købmanden sælger gode bolscher og lakrids! og sidst - men ikke mindst - kan man på Torvet (vist nok lige ved borgmestergården) købe friskbagte æbleskiver og glögg…uhmmmm !!!
Da jeg er i den alder, hvor man kan huske første gang man så “Jul i Gammelby”, som barn, så gik jeg med en fornemmelse af, at nu kommer Severinsen nok om hjørnet lige om lidt … det gjorde han ikke 
… så nu har jeg bestilt julekalenderen på DVD og glæder mig til at se et afsnit hver dag i december!
Så min anbefaling er klart - Tag afsted!! .. og tag hele familien med!
